Enjoy the artistic craftsmanship of the local Native American Tribes

The Fremont County Pioneer Museum has a wide variety of permanent exhibits of interest including the ancient tribes that inhabited the Wind River Valley, the cavalry that came here to offer protection to those tribes to the more modern military heroes who came from the Lander Valley.

 

Visit the Brand Wall and learn about Ownership on the Range, and how agriculture was a major contributing factor to the settling of Fremont County.

Step inside the sheep wagon for a first-hand look at the way sheepherders still live today.
